Once there was a girl who did a thing that sort of drove her parents a little crazy. They thought it was a bad idea, but she knew, with all her heart, that if she didn't follow her seemingly foolish dreams, she might never find happiness.
So she went to Art School.
Her parents weren't thrilled, but it was what she wanted, so they supported her, and while at Art School, she learned some things.
First, she learned that while it's good and fun, and arguably necessary to have other artist type people in your life, there's a better than 50/50 chance another artist is not going to be a great choice for a life partner. It's a thing. Suck it up, buttercup, mom might have been right about that one.
Second, she discovered not all hallucinogenic substances are created equal. But that's a story for another day.
Third, she learned how to apply the principles of design and composition, and to understand about light and shadow, and how to manipulate a colour wheel.
Years later, she has managed to apply all she learned as a youth and it has stood her in good stead.
Plus, she can do this:
